At Mackenzie Leather, we pride ourselves on our dedication to craftsmanship and quality. Over the past few weeks, our workshop has been buzzing with activity as we’ve embarked on an exciting new project that marks a significant milestone for our business. In collaboration with a highly esteemed institution in Edinburgh, we’ve been hard at work creating bespoke Gladstone Bags, Cartridge Bags, Sporrans, and Keyrings.

This collaboration is a first for us, and it’s been a thrilling journey. Our team has poured their hearts into every stitch, ensuring that each piece meets the high standards we’re known for. Crafting bespoke items is no small feat – it requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of leatherwork, and, most importantly, teamwork.

However, with great projects come great challenges, and space management has certainly tested our creativity! Our workshop has never been so full – with hides, tools, and works-in-progress filling every available nook and cranny. We’ve had to think outside the box, quite literally, to keep our workflow smooth and efficient. Amidst the organized chaos, we’ve even joked about needing a map to navigate through the sea of half finished bags!

As we near the completion of this exciting project, we’re eagerly anticipating the moment we can share the full details with you. We’re confident that the final products will be nothing short of exceptional, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
